The Millport Country Music Festival is back bigger and better than ever in 2017.

For the first time ever, under the cover of a huge 3,000 capacity concert venue and featuring the best of British and American country music artists including Mark Chesnutt, The Shires, Ashton Lane, David Ray, Adley Stump, Morgan Frazier and many more…

We are delighted to be able to confirm that Calmac have extended the Cumbrae ferry service to enable all festival ticket holders not staying on the island, to return to the mainland on the Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September. Calmac have guaranteed that ticket holders who get to the ferry slip by 9.30pm each evening (i.e. two hours after the concerts finish) will be transported back to Largs.

Buses will be available both nights from Millport to ensure that everyone who wants to leave the island makes it to the ferry slip on time.

Millport Country Music Festival 2017

Previously started back in 1995 as the Millport Country and Western Weekend. 22 years on the festival has gone from strength to strength, featuring country bands from all over the UK to become one of the most popular on the West Coast of Scotland, and one of the biggest Country Music festivals in Scotland. This year we are going bigger still…

The addition of a huge 3,000 capacity concert marquee that will host international country stars such as Mark Chesnutt, The Shires, Adley Stump, David Ray, Morgan Frazier and Ashton Lane will add to the fun and excitement of the adjacent core festival within the grounds of the Garrison House and local venues.

The grand parade, line-dancing, shootout competitions, funfair, hot dog eating competitions… there is lots going on over the whole weekend.

* Concert tickets start from £39 with core festival wristbands from £10 for the Saturday. For more ticket information click here

Millport and the Isle of Cumbrae

The jewel in the Clyde, and a little bit of Scottish paradise. The Isle of Cumbrae is one of the most accessible islands in Scotland, only a short 10 minute ferry crossing from Largs and less than an hour from Glasgow. It’s been a popular holiday destination with families for hundreds of years with it’s beautiful sandy beaches, to it’s fiercely painted rocks… there is lots to do on the island and the main town of Millport throughout the year – not just during the festival.

For more information about the Isle of Cumbrae and Millport we highly recommend visiting the Isle of Cumbrae Tourist Association’s website.

Our Sponsors and Supporters

Everyone involved in organising and running the Millport Country Music Festival would like to thank our sponsors and supporters that help make the weekend happen. Without their kind support both financially and in kind this huge event for the Isle of Cumbrae simply wouldn’t be possible.
