With so much country going on this weekend around the C2C Festival in London, Glasgow and Dublin, some of the Millport Country Music Festival team were excited to be attending various bits and pieces of it – and we couldn’t have thought of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than at The Ferry in Glasgow to watch Ashton Lane perform as part of the “Country on the Clyde” event run by UKCountryLive.
An opportunity to watch live UK country artists perform original music in an intimate venue, and it didn’t disappoint.

Ashton Lane joined Holloway Road and Darcy on stage for an in the round session as well as individual sets.
One thing that really stood out about Ashton Lane was the on stage connection. Songs had such meaning and watching the husband and wife duo, Tim and Esther perform “Up My Street” about the start of their life together and when they moved into the same street was something magical.
